Tom has taught high school math for 6 years and college math for 3 years. He has taught a variety of math courses from Pre-Algebra through College Algebra. Prior to becoming an educator, he was an Army Captain, a computer programmer, a farmer, an analyst and a business owner.  He often states to his students the most important question in math is “Why?”  “Why does it work this way?”
