Paul Swetman moved to Albuquerque from San Diego thirty-four years ago in order to attend the University of new Mexico. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Language Arts. He received his teaching license in 1985 and his Master’s degree in Multicultural Teacher Education in 1986. Paul is highly-qualified in the content areas of: World, United States, and New Mexico History, Economics, Government and Geography.
Paul has been an educator in the Albuquerque area for twenty-six years, most of these as a Level 3-A teacher. He has worked with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Paul enjoys working with older students who are looking to make positive changes in their lives. He is currently teaching Social Studies, Economics, and Government at Gordon Bernell Charter School.
