Michelle Tudor began her teaching career in an untraditional manner.  She earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of New Mexico in 2006.  She then earned her Master’s degree through the STEMS program at the University of New Mexico.
After completing her first year of teaching at Cibola High School where she taught Chemistry and Biology, she found a position for a Physics and Integrated Science teacher at Digital Arts and Technology Charter School.  Her next two years of teaching were completed at Nuestros Valores Charter School where she expanded her teaching horizons by teaching “at-risk” students.  Here, she was able to put her Spanish to good use, and she taught Chemistry, Biology, and General Science in a classroom with no gas, water, or chemicals!  She also gave coaching a try her first year at NVCS and lead her volleyball team to 6-4 season.
Michelle now teaches Health, Science, and ESL General Science at Gordon Bernell Charter School.
