Erica A. Martinez was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She moved to Socorro, New Mexico and attended Socorro High School and graduated in 1995.  She then went on to receive her Bachelors Degree in Finance from New Mexico Highlands University in 1999.  She worked for Bernalillo County Purchasing, Finance, Payroll, Budget and Public Safety during her 9.5 year tenure with Bernalillo County.  In 2005, she received her Masters of Business Administration from Webster University.
