Denise has been teaching for over 10 years. She has taught Language Arts, Social Studies, and World Cultures at Truman Middle School and was the Outdoor Education Coordinator at Country Day School in Escazu, Costa Rica. She has an undergraduate degree in history and a post BA teaching certification. She has a master’s degree in public health. Denise enjoys trail running, world travel, mountain biking and her dog, Ruby.
