Bernice Gentry became a Math Teacher for Gordon Bernell in September, 2011.  Although she is new to Gordon Bernell she is not new to teaching as she has several years teaching experience at both the high school and college level.  Bernice holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and a Master of Arts Degree in Secondary Education from the University of New Mexico.  She is well suited in working with a diverse population of people as she was also involved in jail and prison ministry during the years of 2005 and 2006.
Bernice enjoys breaking the mathematical block that many people experience and is especially excited to be working with the students of Gordon Bernell Charter School.  Breaking the barrier and helping to create new futures for our students is what Bernice strives for on a daily basis as she helps to empower her students on a mathematical level.
