Ann Lyn Hall developed the Center for Working Families (CWF) program at Central New Mexico
Community College (CNM) and oversaw its expansion to five sites in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As the Executive Director of CNM Connect, she is leading the institutionalization of this work now called CNM Connect to serve all of CNM’s 30,000 students. She is a national leader in financial coaching, asset building, and helping adults improve access for educational, employment, health, and financial outcomes. She has educated professionals regarding financial coaching, using data for program improvement, the impact of poverty on education, college student resiliency factors, asset development, and the use of behavioral economics. She provides technical assistance to a cohort of community colleges nationally who are starting CWF. Prior to joining CNM, Ann Lyn held positions with various community oriented service, volunteer, and educational entities including Albuquerque Job Corps Center, University of California, Mid City for Youth, San Diego Youth & Community Services, and AmeriCorps. Ann Lyn completed her master’s degree in Counseling in 2006 from the University of New Mexico. She served on the Governor’s Economic & Security Women’s Health Task Force. She serves on the Native American Community Academy Foundation Board, the Gordon Bernell Charter School Board and has been honored with the YWCA’s Women on the Move award.
