The Governance Council of Gordon Bernell Charter School includes community, business, educational and government leaders, all dedicated to improving outcomes in Albuquerque and New Mexico for incarcerated adults in particular and disadvantaged adults in general. They know the value of education in decreasing crime and recidivism while increasing meaningful employment and quality of life for our citizens.
2011-12 School Year Governance Council Open, Public Meetings are scheduled as follows: July 21, August 18, September 15, October 20, November 17, December 15, January 19, February 16, March 15, April 19, May 17, and June 21. As of the October meeting, the time has changed to 5pm. The location has changed as of the November meeting, until further notice, to Peanut Butter and Jelly, 1101 Lopez SW, Albuquerque.
